Heres my problem. When i order tickets lets say....July 18th to August 2nd, the tickets are about 327, but, why when i order for August 10th to the 24th, which is probably when i will be taking my trip, its almost 385? Am i ordering to far in advance? Also, i can only use expedia because its the only place that allows me, at 16, to order my own plane ticket. Also, the trip is to Lubbock Texas from Columbus Ohio, two weeks in Lubbock then id be coming back. How far in advance should i order a plane ticket? As you may, see, 14 days advance purchase seems to be the norm on your route, to get the best deal. BUT that may change!!!
Usually 50 days and 21 days are also cut-offs.
My recommendation is to put a couple of "fare-alerts" on some of the following sites, with BOTH your dates, and wait %26amp; see.
For July 18th, to-morrow is you cut-off date.
Please check:
Tips:
a- use flexible dates
b- use alternative airports
