Is there a certain age to be able to ride in a plane by yourself?

I was guessing 18, but I don't really know.

(Obviously, there is no way that they could have purchased those tickets themselves.) So, it is important to have a conversation with the airline to find out what their rules and regulations are. its called being an unaccompanied minor. i was on a plane when i was maybe 10, so atleast 10.
