Looking at a used DL50, which has about 10 gallons through it. I know this would be considered high time for a nitro engine, but i have heard that gasoline engines last much longer. Does anyone know exactly how much longer the lifespan of a 50cc gasoline rc plane engine is?What is the lifespan of a 50cc gasoline RC plane engine?Just like ANY gasoline engine, it depends on the oil used and maintenance given.
WHY would 10 gallons be considered "high" for a nitro engine? I have several larger engines that have had at least twice that much run through them and are STILL operating well. (The amount depends a lot on the engine size!!)
