My Parents are so Wierd!?

Ok, my sister takes tae kwon do. I used to do it, but not anymore. She went to a tournatment to day, and won a 2nd place trophy for her form, and 3rd place for sparring. I am happy for her, but she is gloating about it! My parents said that she is just too excited. Ha! Sure, okay! The whole day was dedicated to her. She went to Papa Gino's, made us waiste $5 on the janked crane thing, got chocolate bunnies, chose what to eat for dinner, got PAID $40 just for doing it, and slept over our aunts house, and she's SEVEN YEARS OLD! She also getting another joy ride tomorrow. The point? I got into the advanced classes, so I can get any job I can possibly get. What do my parents give me? They are getting me 3 pairs of flipping shoes. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THEM? what is better: my future or a stupid sport? I need away to tell them what they are doing, and how a persons future, especially in this economy, is better than getting a few stupid tophies. reply asap please.My Parents are so Wierd!?

Well what is the problem? They don't actually have to give either of you anything, why are you upset that they are giving you shoes? Are they cheap shoes that you don't like or do you get to pick out what sort of shoes you want? So she got dinner and to sleep at your aunts house, and you are getting three pairs of shoes, they even out. Move on, you sound like you are jealous and bratty and that you are the one with the problem not your parents.
You sound like your bitter and jealous. Your sister is 7 years old and maybe since shes soo young they encourage her so she knows that if she does good in something sshe get what she wants.... uh well if your smart enough and old enough to be in advanced classes than you should know that shes seven she still needs that type of encouragement your old enough to know that your doing good and you dont need a million rewards. you should just keep up the good work.
When I was seven years old, I got a hug for the accomplishments I did.



I'm still curious of why a seven year old needs $40 for. They are over doing it.

I have absolutely no idea what your on about but you should be happy for your sister and i don't think your family is weird at all and besides, how does getting three pairs of flipping shoes effect your future?
Maybe they plan to have a big shindig for you when you graduate, lol. I don't know. This is why I am glad I have no younger siblings lol.

bitter and jealous. and it doesnt matter about the reward. if it was me i wouldnt be rewarding you to want to do good and have a good future. i would stand by your side and guide you to success but the real reward is what you get in school. the knowledge you optain should be the reward. stop thinking theirs a reward to everything. your sister is 7. the least you can do is be happy for her and continue doing good. think about your future and how far you can go with your knowledge. i would be happy with 3 shoes. and so should you. think about the long run.
