i have a bday dinner coming up this friday and im really confused about where to go in melbourne....there'll be around 15 people and its a young crowd.....i was thinking of either soda rock in south yarra or the pub at crown...ive never been to the pub but it seems like its for 25-40 yrs age group......dont know if its something that my friends would enjoy...i was also wondering how papa ginos at lygon st was......Bday dinner melbourne?
Papa Ginos is good, they make a good pizza. However, they do not reserve tables for customers - even for functions. The chance of you getting a table together for 15 people is unlikely. I have done it before but my guests and I were waiting around for about an hour for tables to become available.
Pub at crown is a waste of money.
I don't think the quality of good at Soda Rock is any good.
-If your after that type of restaurant try Smoking Joes on Mt Alexander Rd in Moonee Ponds.
-Cafe Nortuno on Lygon st have enough room and will reserve tables.
