How old do you have to be to fly on a plane unattended?

How old do you have to be to fly on a plane unattended?

I鈥檓 17 planing on going on a trip From Texas to N.YHow old do you have to be to fly on a plane unattended?at 17 you are allowed to fly alone. if you are under 15 and you travel alone then there is a required unnacompanied minor service and a fee that has to be paid in order to fly. 15 thru 17 is optional for the service so you can decline it and fly alone. call the airline and talk to them. as far as the adult tickets.... well most airlines charge the same for an adult or child.... accept sometimes internationally smaller children may get a discount... but being 17 you would be considered an adult.

also the people who said any age... or even as low as 1 month old are WRONG. you can fly at one month old but not unattended.. even with the unaccompanied minor service you still have to be at least 5-7 years old depending on the requirements. How old do you have to be to fly on a plane unattended?
