I filed a petition to bring my spouse to america from overseas and i havent gotten an answer back yet but am thinking about when i have to buy plane tickets? Yours return and hers one way, assuming she has the visa to approve her stay otherwise she will need a return/onward ticket to depart within her visa requirements. But choose the same flight on the same day for the return if you wish to fly together. When at the airport and you check your luggage this is where you will be assigned seats together on the plane.



With most airlines now you can even go online and choose your seats in advance, some even over the phone, but should you get to the airport in good time you should not have a problem with seats assigned together. Easier as there is only 2 of you!



If you have difficulty coordinating this online I suggest going to your local travel agent. Flight Center offices are excellent for this and will help you and perhaps this may be the best way for you to go. Or you can phone up an internet company like expedia.com. but they will charge a small $20 - 30 ish fee extra for over the phone bookings. This may be worth it to make sure you get the same return flight and adjacent seats, there is always the odd chance that when you are purchasing one ticket and go to purchase the other and the cheaper fare will be sold out!

Read details?I would talk to a travel agent to see if he can swing anything for you. Otherwise, you will have to buy two separate tickets: one round-trip for yourself, and another one-way for her.
