My 88 Suzuki Samurai started stuttering this week while accelerating.?

I only notice the problem on my way to work in the morning; problem does not exist in the evening on my way home from work. Also, after about 15 miles into my morning commute, the problem disappears. I originally thought fuel filter or carburetor, but since the problem isn鈥檛 there all the time, I have ruled those problems out. The only other thing I could think of was the catalytic converter. What do you think? My 88 Suzuki Samurai started stuttering this week while accelerating.?
if it was the cat the problem would get worse as it warms up, could be as simple as you need a tune up, could be oil leaking into cylinders as the vehicle sits over night which would probably mean you need valve seals. but i would take it in and have it diagnosedMy 88 Suzuki Samurai started stuttering this week while accelerating.?
wel if it does it only in morning most likey would be in spark so might be a bad disturber cap or a bad plug if catalytic converter bad you lose power and car would do it all time but id guess and say check your choke on carb might be dirtyMy 88 Suzuki Samurai started stuttering this week while accelerating.?
Well what I think it might be is that the engine just needs to warm up a bit in the morning after sitting overnight and getting cold.

Nothing to really solve, just try turning it on a few minutes before you set off in the morning and rev it a little, and when accelerating don't bring it the entire way back bring it up nice and slow.

Other than that you could go to a mechanic and check it out.
