Help. no dash lights on suzuki samurai?

no dash lights on samurai, tested dimmer switch had power and then it went away! Removed dashboard completely and hooked up to a direct power source but still no lights. the turn signal, seat belt, high beam etc etc lights workHelp. no dash lights on suzuki samurai?
Still is probably the dimmer switch. They are notorious for not working right. They work, they don't work, they work again! Find another from a scrap vehicle or order one up from a dealer or an aftermarket vendor. Switch it out - I bet it'll work. The only problem with a scrap one is it might be just as bad as the original.Help. no dash lights on suzuki samurai?
Check fuse, bulbs and couplers.
