Don't drive this vehicle unless you HAVE to! Sounds like a bad master cylinder or a bad brake line or a bad wheel cylinder or just needs bled. Get it looked at before you wrap yourself arond a pole .

Good luck!I have a 1986 suzuki samurai i have to push the brakes to the floor and ?
Probably needs to have the brake lines bled.

Take it to a brake shop, they have the equipment to do it.

I got an '86 Samurai too. Yes, air is in the system. These little puppy's are easy to work on.. check fluid level in master cylinder. Check your wheel cylinders for leaking brake fluid. Bleeding the brakes is simple. takes 2 people. One to open the bleeder at each wheel while someone is pumping the brake 2 times then hold pedal down. The other person closes the bleeder when air is gone and fluid comes out. This is the common way to bleed air out of manual brakes . Check your rear calipers and check for scoring and your front brakes to see if the rev-its are exposed and scoring the drum.
