I am going to be traveling last minute on Wednesday with my 14 month old son, and I'm very stressed! What do I need to take with me on the plane to keep him entertained? Can I bring his stroller onto the plane or do I have to check it? Is it easier to check the car seat in, or should I bring it on the plane as well? Sorry for all the questions, but I've never traveled with him before. Any other advice is appreciated.I need tips on traveling on a plane with a 14 month old?I recently flew with my then 13 month old son. Check the car seat unless you plan on using it (we did -- the plane was not full, so they let us use a seat for him). We did not use a stroller, but I had my husband with me and he doesn't do well in a stroller anyway -- so just ask the airline about that if you want it.
Bring food/snacks! Be aware that they will want to check any liquids, including baby food/juice/formula/milk so know where you have it -- I found it wise to take more than I thought I needed. I found freeze dried fruit and crackers kept him the most busy and happy.
Having some of his favorite books with us was probably the best thing we brought along and kept him entertained.I need tips on traveling on a plane with a 14 month old?http://www.flyingwithkids.com/
You can bring the stroller up to the gate and then they check it for you when you board. When you arrive at your destination, they get the stroller and bring it right to you. You can put the car seat right on the plane seat and buckle him in (i prefer) or check it as baggage.
The site I provided will be very helpful.
good luck and have fun!I need tips on traveling on a plane with a 14 month old?Bring interesting toy for him that will keep him busy for a while enough food and change of clothe I you take a seat for him take along car seat the stroller you get a tag at check in you take until the plane then the flight attendant takes it from you and returns it after landingI need tips on traveling on a plane with a 14 month old?
Hello...well i was interested in this question myself. My son is also named Aaron and he is 4 1/2. Month old. We will be going to Canary Islands this summer and I was curious too. Like can i take his food with me with no problem or do they sell it inside the airport once you pass security. You know like the nursery water I usually have. I just didnt want to have all his things ready and then i have to throw them away.Well good luck..i'll be checking back to see what everyone says!!! Have fun!
