The engine is a rebuilt 1.3L, it is a carb, all stock.
it started a week ago but wont now battery is charged. the fuel pump works and the carb is getting gas. Did a compression test and it was good. timing is correct. When rebuilding it I replaced the Engine head. Also the gas is new in the tank. Spark plugs are new and the coil works sparks it correct order and the distributor cap is tightened down.
Thank you86 suzuki samurai cranks but will not start.?
You have everything you need for engine to run. It has to be a timing or distribution problem. You have spark out of the coil. Is it getting from through the coil wire to the rotor than sent to the proper plugs at the proper time. Check for spark at the plugs. Pull plugs out and warm them to evaporate any fuel or condensation that would cause them to not fire. Make sure distributor is installed with rotor pointing to #1 at TDC on compression stroke. Hope this helps
