How can I avoid peeing during a plane trip?

Chicago to Hawaii....I'm always in the window seat boxed in by sleeping parents and sister sits in next row(shes in high school). I'm shy/embarrassed about having to make scene about going on the plane. How can I avoid peeing during a plane trip?Don't drink too much before your plane ride.

Use the restroom before boarding the plane.

Don't drink anything on the plane.

Avoid fruits and veggies and other foods high in water content.

umm...Depends...and I don't mean the intransitive verb...you know what I mean... lol just teasing

EDIT: I forgot to add: Kegal exercises will help too.

and here some listed bladder irritants:

Caffeine

Alcohol

Acidic fruits and and fruit juices from oranges, grapefruits, lemons and limes

Spicy foods

Tomato-based products

Carbonated drinks

Artificial sweetenersHow can I avoid peeing during a plane trip? It's not healthy to hold it in and it's not healthy to dehydrate yourself, however if you are embarassed (believe me I'm the same way!!!)

then what I do is wait until the person next to me has to pee and get up at the same time, so they aren't moving just for you. Or you can even say you want to stretch your legs (when this other person is getting up) and end up going to the rest room.

It's a pretty long flight and most people will probably have to go to the rest room. Good luck and have a great time! How can I avoid peeing during a plane trip?Hey please, this is not making a scene.. this is your human right to ask the people sitting next to you to kindly let you pass as you need to go to the toilet.. Don't ever suffer in silence on a trip on the plane.. the right to use the toilet is there for everyone.. and every passenger who blocks your way when you need to get up, they have to move and they are very willing to move if you just ask them politely '' Please could you let me pass, I need the toilet?" everyone else does it... and if you hate window seats, then when you check in.. make sure to ask for an aisle seat.. I hate sitting by the window as I never can see much anyhow.. and I get up several times to go to the toilet on the plane and also to strech my legs.. and I just hate to be crowded in by other people.. so I want to be on the outside.. and ask for an aisle seat every time... and if the others want to go to the toilet.. I am glad, because then that gives me another opportunity to stretch my legs and stand up until they return...Nobody will have a problem with you going to ask to please let you through, that you need the toilet...

I had a pal he is from Great Britain, he never even went into Birmingham which is not far from where he comes from... and after London, Birmingham is the second biggest city in the United Kingdom.. so this ''boy'' never had been to the city.. and at age 16.5 he joined the navy and he was on a plane from the UK to the USA.. a 7.5 hour flight.. and sat on this plane and because he had never been anywhere, he thought.. ''Planes can't possibly have toilets'' He did not have fear to ask people to please let him through, that he would not have been afraid or embarrassed about.. but he was too embarrassed to ask the stewardess..''what to do if the bladder is full'' as he didn't believe it's possible to have a toilet on the plane... so he sat in his seat for almost 8 hours... and he just managed to hang on in there without wetting his pants.. until the plane landed and he took the first opportunity there was to find a toilet...and later he found out...'' Planes do have toilets''.. so please don't be embarrassed... most people use the toilet .. some people get up just to stretch their legs.. its a good thing to get up every 3 hours at least.. to either just take a short walk up and down the aisle to stretch ones legs.. or /and to use the toilet.. after a meal everybody rushes off to the toilet.. so I am sure the parents will just have to wake up... most people can't sleep on the plane.. they can't be sleeping all the time anyhow... if they are going to sleep all the time and if this is always a night flight.. then I don't see why you don't ask to have an aisle seat.. because at night you really see nothing at all out there if you have a window seat.. and it's not causing a scene to ask politely to please let you pass by to get to the toilet.. '' causing a scene is getting your trousers wet...'' so please don't feel embarrassed to ask for what is your darn right.. the use of the toilet on the plane''How can I avoid peeing during a plane trip?
be sure to have something in your belly %26amp; just don't drink anything at least two-three hours before your flight leaves-you'll be thirsty-but just eat some fruit or something %26amp; that should help. Also try not to get a lot of sleep the night before so you can sleep the whole plane ride %26amp; be sure to go right before you board the plane.
