I have a 1993 Suzuki SAMURAI when you turn the key the starter won't engage, it has a new starter.?

Not really enough info to even begin to answer this question. Is it clicking? Does it make any noise? Is the battery charged?

Samurais are know for having difficulty starting. The poor wiring isn't able to supply enough juice to the starter. There is a "clicky starter fix" that is sold by almost all samurai vendors and also on Ebay. It is nothing more than a relay that gives just enough "umph" to turn the starter over. That should fix it if it's clicking.

There is a ground strap that goes from the distributor to the firewall that is a major contributor to "bugs" in the samurai wiring. If you haven't replaced it yet, do so now to prevent later problems. Take a good sized piece of stranded wire with eyelets on both ends and replace the strap or undersized wire that is there now. You will be gald you did.

Any other questions or if I haven't answered this one, feel free to e-mail me and I will do my best to point you in the right direction. I'll buy that '93 from you TODAY!
