The pros are it is light and economical.
The cons win....
Underpowered, weak transfer case, weak axles, limited tire size increase, uncomfortable seats, etc. What are the pros and cons of Suzuki SJ Samurai and what is its ranking among other SUVs?
I loved my Suzuki Samuri- and if I could get another one? I would-HOWEVER- and this is a big HOWEVER- they're HORRIBLY underpowered with a 59 HP engine for a vehicle that weighs 2950 pounds dry curb weight.
They can supposedly roll over- I only came close to doing this ONCE and that was my fault for overdriving the road, not the vehicles design.
So- take a Chev V6, thats about 130HP, and do an engine swap. Put in a super heavy duty clutch. You may have to swap the transmission also.
Go to a red light, flip off a cop, pop the clutch and do a wheel stand. Make sure you have enough money to post bail and get your truck out of the towing companys yard!
:DWhat are the pros and cons of Suzuki SJ Samurai and what is its ranking among other SUVs?
Lots of fun %26amp; economical. To short of wheel base for the height of vehical (way tippy-put one on it's side). Between the short wheel base, the stiff springs and the thin seat it will beat you to death! from another ex-owner
