What do flight attendants do as their job off the plane?

Of course they are on the plane for security, but do they have any duties off the plane as well? Also, I always have wondered where they go inbetween flights. Do they have to wait in the airport and deal with all the people all day and where do they go to "check-in", like how does the airline know they've shown up for a flight? And i always see them with bags in the airport but since they don't have normal seats where do they keep all their stuff? What do flight attendants do as their job off the plane?I think after landing they are responsible for getting the cabin cleaned up and ready for the next group of passengers, as well as making sure the little snack cart is restocked, and all the seats have a skymall catalog. What do flight attendants do as their job off the plane?Cabin or Flight attendants are hired by the airlines purely for the purpose of help and serving passengers on board aircraft. They report 1.30 one hour 30 minutes prior to flight departure and report to crew scheduling department of the airlines and wait in a briefing room for the operating captain who gives a short briefing about the flight. Then the crew transportation drivers take them to the aircraft.

After flight termination the crew reports back to crew scheduling and a debriefing session is conducted by the Captain of the Flight. Cabin attendants are then allowed to go back home. They just serve Food / Drinks. Supply newspaper, blankets and pillows for passenger comfort, aslo sometimes busy in sky sales activity for selling perfumes and cigerattes etc. In case of any emergency help passengers in evacuation.

During long haul flights they are scheduled for a legal rest and are taken to a 5 star hotel for rest and continue operating another flight.

They dont deal with the people at airport or stay with check-in staff. What do flight attendants do as their job off the plane?Hey.

We check in in a crew lounge with a computer terminal. Once we enter our ID and password, the scheduling department knows we're here.

Inbetween flights, if the airport has a a crew lounge, we'll often go there to hangout/ watch tv/ check the computer/ etc. Sometimes, we'll get food at the airport, and sometimes we'll just hangout on the empty plane before its time for the next flight.

We usually put our bags in the overhead bin or a closet.

Exciting, huh?
