Which engine is best for a Suzuki Samurai-a honda vtec, a subaru flat or a vvt toyota engine?

Im thinkin of buying a Suzuki Samurai, but because of the dismal engine inside, im plannin on changing it. I hav decided that i wanna cross-power the vehicle (i.e. usin a completely different engine). My options are as follows: a Honda VTEC engine (btw 1.6-1.8l, DOHC), a Toyota engine (5a, ae, VVT) or a Subaru boxer engine (btw 1.8-2.0l--if it can fit)..Which engine is best for a Suzuki Samurai-a honda vtec, a subaru flat or a vvt toyota engine?
Really depends on what you want.

Honda VTEC engines are the most reliable engines out there - there hasn't been a single case of one breaking down, which is pretty spectacular seeing as though the engine is nearly a decade old!

Boxer engines are pretty good, but they're usually diesel engines. They're really quite economical however they can be quite noisy. One good thing about the boxer though is that, unlike other diesels, it has plenty of torque in the lower rev range.

The VVT is probably the most powerful of the three - but watch out as some can be unreliable.

If you really want to push the limits of your Suzuki, get yourself a Toyota 1JZ engine - its 2.5 litres, so maybe a bit big, but if its fits you'd have enough power to get yourself from 0-60 in about 8 seconds.

I hope that helps!Which engine is best for a Suzuki Samurai-a honda vtec, a subaru flat or a vvt toyota engine?

Go for the CHEVY 4.3 liter V6 and 700 turbo transmission. It is one of the strongest and long lasting motor from GM.
