Hello, I recently bought a toyota celica 2000 with 130k miles. It's been great so far, fast, great gas, very nice, gotten tonssss of compliments. However moneys a little tight being 17 and I let my dad convince me of getting to nice of a car.. wish I stuck with my old plan. Anyways, since it's such a nice car insurance has been through the roof for the full coverage. I was thinking of selling it for around 5.2 grand, 6grand of I'm damn right lucky. It's in spectacular condition. Then buying a suzuki samurai for 2.5 grand with 130k miles. Reason being is I like the mini jeep wrangler part about it and they look awesome once you put bigger tires on them. I do tend to ramble, sorry. What do you think of buying a samurai? Will it last me another 100k before the engine says "HAHA YOU'RE FUNNY"? Along with a cheaper vehicle I could have cheap insurance. 1987 with low grade insurance as I wouldn't care about dings scratches dents and the sort. I do like me older vehicles. This fancy nice shiny car business makes me always worried about it getting scuffed compared to the ruggedness of the samurai. it got a tune up recently (the samurai). Hasn't been driven much at all for the past year which obviously means it's gonna be leaking fluids that aren't even supposed to belong in engines! Haha.bit of exxageration of course. Again with the rambling, anyways. Just lookin for some input, thanks for your time! Are suzuki samurai's good vehicles?
Got 210,000 miles on my before the deer attacked me one late night going to work. Miss it too but beware that they don't hold up good in wrecks. Had two broke ribs and hurt for months but the insurance on them are cheap and if you keep regular maintance on them they will run good for years.
