What plane usually flies with a F6F Hellcat in airshows or on heritage flights?

I saw what looked like a Hellcat fly over, accompanied by a slightly larger, twin engine airplane--it might have been prop, I don't know. Does anybody know which plane usually accompanies the Hellcat?What plane usually flies with a F6F Hellcat in airshows or on heritage flights?I seen one with a Bearcat and a P47 Thunderbolt.
